Once successfully submitted, please scroll up, a confirmation screen will appear at the top of this page, this means that we have received your application. Should you wish to keep a record, take a screen grab, we will not be sending out confirmation emails.
Trees will be distributed per county by volunteer distributors and your chosen distributor will make contact with you to arrange collection details.
We will not share any of your information with any third parties except the relevant distributor where you will need to collect your trees on an agreed date.
We are a very small volunteer team, could you kindly interrogate our FAQ's below before attempting to contact us. We will share all relevant information either here or on our social media pages.
Frequently asked Questions
How can I add my name to the list to receive trees? We awarded in excess of 87,000 trees in total and plan to have another give away in November/December 2025. We will only announce dates and any information around give aways on our social media platforms. We do not keep lists in advance, it is a first come, first served basis.
Can I contact my local distributor directly? Unfortunately not, that complicates the administration of allocating trees, we would really appreciate it if you used our online form on this page only.
How many trees will I receive? Depending on the total amount of trees as well as the number of people that apply we will allocate bundle sizes and they could be different from your desired request in your application.
When and how do I get my trees?
Trees are for collection only and your distributor will contact you to make arrangements for collection. We do have a limited amount of trees available, so we unfortunately cannot guarantee that everyone that applies will receive trees.
How can I find my nearest distributor?
Please check the map that is included on this page. This will show you the nearest collection point, and we suggest you choose this on the drop down list when completing the application. Once there are no more trees available at a distributor and you are willing to travel further, you can choose a different location.
Where do the trees that we receive come from?
Every tree we distribute is guaranteed to be of native provenance, meaning it is grown from seed collected and cultivated in Ireland. We will never distribute trees that are not of native provenance. By doing so, we support local jobs in Irish tree nurseries and ensure we do not introduce harmful diseases such as ash dieback, fireblight, and others.
How big are the trees that I will receive?
Size can vary but usually a meter or a bit taller and they will be bare root trees. Bare root trees are young trees sold without soil around their roots, typically while dormant, making them easier to transport, plant, and establish in new locations.
What do I do once I receive my bare root trees?
The ideal scenario would be to plant them immediately but life happens so if you are not able to, please take care of them by following these easy steps.
