Food for thought

Why should we
plant more trees?

Without trees we cannot exist, they help clean the air we breathe, filter our water and provide a bio-diverse habitat for animals and birds to live in.
One mature leafy tree can provide enough oxygen for ten people. Additionally, trees serve as vital carbon sinks, playing a crucial role in mitigating climate change. Spending time in nature aids in reducing the stress hormone cortisol produced in our brains. Their benefits are manifold, as trees also serve as essential food sources for numerous wildlife species. Is there anything more refreshing than taking a break in the cool shade of a leafy tree on a hot day?
